Covid, in Fvg 2829 new infections and twelve deaths: hospitalizations still in decline

UDINE. On Saturday 5 February in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 970 new infections were detected on 9,826 molecular swabs, with a positive percentage of 9.87%. There are also 17,099 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which 1,859 cases were detected (10.87%).

There are 39 people admitted to intensive care, while patients hospitalized in other departments drop to 470.

As regards the trend of the spread of the virus among the population, the most affected group remains the 40-49 years (17.25%), followed by the 50-59 (13.96%) and the 30-39 ( 13.26%).

Today the deaths of 12 people are recorded: a 95-year-old man from Udine (who died in hospital), a 94-year-old man from Palazzolo dello Stella (who died in hospital), a 93-year-old woman from Cividale (who died in RSA ), a 93-year-old man from Udine (who died in hospital), an 86-year-old woman from San Daniele (who died in hospital), an 84-year-old woman from Campomarino (CB) (who died in hospital), a 79-year-old woman of Latisana (who died in hospital), a 78-year-old man from Faedis (who died in RSA), a 77-year-old man from Muzzana del Turgnano (who died in hospital), a 76-year-old man from Trieste (who died in hospital), a 70-year-old woman from Spilimbergo (who died in hospital), a 68-year-old woman from Pordenone (who died in hospital).

Overall deaths amounted to 4,559, with the following territorial subdivision: 1,106 in Trieste, 2,195 in Udine, 870 in Pordenone and 388 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 227,299, the clinically healed 467, while the people in isolation have dropped to 50,722.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 283,556 people have been positive with the following territorial division: 61,249 in Trieste, 118,033 in Udine, 68,320 in Pordenone, 31,843 in Gorizia and 4,111 from outside the region. The total of positives was reduced by 7 units following the review of as many tests.

With regard to the regional health system, the following positives were found: in the Giuliano Isontina university health agency, an administrative, 14 nurses, 3 technicians, a pharmacist, a speech therapist, 5 doctors, 2 social health workers, 3 rehabilitation therapists ; in the Friuli Centrale University Healthcare Company of 2 administrators, a driver, 14 nurses, a doctor, 3 social health workers, 4 technicians; in the Friuli Occidentale health company of two administrators, a psychologist, an employee, 7 nurses, a speech therapist, 4 doctors, 3 social health workers; in the maternal-child Irccs Burlo Garofolo of 2 doctors and a nurse; in the Cro of Aviano by a nurse; in the regional coordinating agency for the health of a nurse.

With regard to residences for the elderly in Friuli Venezia Giulia, the infection of 35 guests and 24 operators was recorded.
