Covid in Fvg: 72 new infections, no deaths

UDINE. There are 72 new cases of positivity to Covid reported in the regional bulletin of Monday 1 November, no deaths.

In particular, on 1,535 molecular swabs 63 new infections were detected with a positive percentage of 4.1%. Furthermore, 4,196 rapid antigenic tests have been carried out, from which 9 cases (0.21%) were detected.

In the last 24 hours there have been no deaths, while 18 people are hospitalized in intensive care. Altogether 75 patients hospitalized in other departments.

The data was communicated by the Deputy Governor of the Region with responsibility for Health, Riccardo Riccardi. Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been a total of 3,856 deaths, with the following territorial subdivision: 846 in Trieste, 2,030 in Udine, 683 in Pordenone and 297 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 111,226, the clinically healed 45 and 2,081 people in isolation. A total of 117,301 people were positive (two cases previously reported as confirmed by antigen tests, after verification, were reclassified as confirmed by molecular tests in the territories of Udine and Pordenone), with the following territorial subdivision: 24,952 in Trieste, 53,335 in Udine, 23,315 in Pordenone, 14,067 in Gorizia and 1,632 from outside the region.

With regard to the staff of the regional health service, the following positives have been detected in the last 24 hours: in the Friuli Centrale university health authority an administrative and a technician; a medical director at Ircs Burlo Garofolo. With regard to residential facilities for the elderly, the infection of a guest (Pordenone) was recorded.
