Digital reforms boost common prosperity-Jiaxing in the eyes of Chinese and African youths

From October 13th to 17th, the “China’s Road to Common Prosperity in My Eyes-China-Africa Youth Journey to Jiaxing” organized by the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries was successfully held. More than 20 representatives of young leaders from 10 African countries and China gathered in Jiaxing, visited the site of the “One Great Party” of the Communist Party of China, listened to the story of “a small boat and a big party” in front of the South Lake Red Boat, and visited the Nanhu Revolutionary Memorial Hall , I learned about the 100-year development of the Communist Party of China, and realized the spirit of the Red Boat and the original intention and mission of the Communist Party of China.

During their stay in Jiaxing, the delegation visited the villages, communities, grassroots, companies, markets, and ancient towns. They conducted in-depth investigations of the development of the city’s digital economy, learned about the practical application of digital governance, and experienced the reality of digital life. . Wherever they went, young Chinese and African youths walked, watched, listened and asked, witnessing the grassroots practices of China’s digital development empowering rural revitalization and grassroots governance. They had in-depth conversations and shared their insights to further explore new areas and directions for China-Africa cooperation. . Jiaxing comprehensively presented a picture of prosperity, a picture of happiness, a picture of civilization, a picture of beauty, and a picture of harmony in the form of a common prosperity and beautiful society, which left a beautiful and deep impression on all members of the visiting group.

The visiting delegation also participated in the “China-Africa Future Leaders Digital Cooperation Symposium” held in our city. At the meeting, members of the Chinese-African Youth Visiting Group and representatives of Asian, African and Latin American students and young entrepreneurs in Jiaxing universities focused on “The Practice of Jiaxing Digital Development to Promote Common Prosperity”, “The Enlightenment of China’s Digital Innovation to Africa’s Digital Development” and “China “The opportunities brought by non-digital cooperation to the youth of China and Africa” ​​and other topics.

This year is the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China. The international community pays close attention to China’s rapid development and changes and brilliant achievements. This event told African youths the story of the Communist Party of China, demonstrated the grassroots practices of China’s digital development empowering rural revitalization and common prosperity, and helped African youths understand the changes in production, life, and governance in the context of the international epidemic. It promoted the mutual understanding and friendship between the youth of China and Africa, and promoted the building of a community of shared future between China and Africa.
