After months of closure, the structure returns to host moments of socialization and meeting
The Donnas Elderly Center has finally reopened after the long closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic. On Tuesday the first guests returned to animate the structure and about fifteen people gathered to chat, play cards, socialize and spend time together.
Everything took place under the supervision of the volunteers Annie, Silvia, Elvira, Enrica and Francesca and of the colleague Mauro who managed the presence of the guests and the respect of safety measures, from the measurement of body temperature at the entrance to the distancing.
For now, the Elderly Center only operates a recreational center on Tuesday afternoon, from 2.30pm to 6pm, but the intention is to be able to reopen it as soon as possible even for lunch, as it did before the forced closure. And as the volunteers say: “you are all welcome, come and visit us”.
