Davide Bristot, student of Itis Segato in Belluno, was found by his mother. The brother involved with the U17 national volleyball team is returning from Albania
IF I SAY. Drama in the Bristot house, with a mourning that runs through the whole great family of volleyball, local and national. This morning Davide, recently turned 18, was found dead at the foot of his bed by his mother Barbara.
The boy had attended the fourth year of the Itis Segato institute in Belluno, he had played with Spes volley until the break dictated by the health emergency, but to friends and teammates he told his desire to return to the field.
His brother Alessandro, a couple of years younger, is an Under 17 national, and with Italy he was in Albania for the European Championships. He is returning to Sedico, in the afternoon the azzurrini before the match against Austria, scheduled for 5.30 pm, will bring Alessandro’s shirt to the field and will play with mourning on his arm.
The news quickly spread, raising dismay and disbelief. Among the many certificates of esteem and closeness to the family, there are also those of the Italian Volleyball Federation.
