In the early hours of this morning, the mobile team of the Trento Police Headquarters, aided by the Lombardy crime prevention department and by anti-drug canine units, on behalf of the Trento Public Prosecutor’s Office, carried out the order issued against 11 people investigated for having taken part of an association dedicated to the trafficking of narcotic substances, particularly cocaine and heroin, in the center of Trento, in the Piana Rotaliana and in the Fersina Valley.
The investigations, which began in May 2022, made it possible to identify the leader of the Trentino group, a 32-year-old Tunisian, who, despite being under house arrest, managed and coordinated, also acting as a real “drug switchboard”, all the activity of his associates, both to supply drug addicts and to purchase the quantities ordered by him.
At the head of the Palù del Fersina group was a 51-year-old Italian who coordinated her “underlings” by being accompanied on trips to the city aimed at supplying drugs, which were then distributed in the drug dealing squares. The roles (leaders, couriers, dealers and custodians) were not, however, characterized by a schematic rigidity.
According to what has been reconstructed, the organization guaranteed monthly earnings of around 30,000 euros. During the investigation, four arrests were also made in flagrante delicto. The measures ordered are five precautionary custody in prison and six residence obligations in the municipality of residence. In total, 3.6 kg of heroin and 160 grams of cocaine were seized.
