According to police, the two adult burglars are not the girl’s parents. (topic image)

The eleven-year-old girl, who was apparently left behind by burglars, has now escaped from a youth welfare facility in Verden. That is what the police said. The child was caught by the police in Ottersberg (Verden district) last week. According to the information, it is said to have fled with two adults after a break-in in Horstedt (Rotenburg district). His two companions escaped. The officers are currently not looking for the girl because she is not yet of criminal age, said a spokesman for the Rotenburg police. But the officials could now have found out more about the eleven-year-old and the two adults: All three apparently belong to a larger family from the Bremen area. The man and the woman are therefore not the parents of the child. It was said that the man was only about 20 years old. He has now also been seen in Stade. Nothing further is known about the woman, said the police spokesman.
