Indigenous leaders from the Opogadó-Doguadó reservation in the municipality of Bojayá denounced the critical situation suffered by the communities of Unión Baquiaza, Eroboquera, Playita, Villa Hermosa and Tambo where four children have died in recent days.

They are Yeimar Chamorro Chamí and Freidya Chamorro Chamí from the community of Villa Hermosa, Yeray Sarco Bailarín, in Unión Baquiaza and Yaritza Bacorizo ​​Tunay, a six-month-old baby.

Other children are seriously ill, presenting symptoms of fever, diarrhea, vomiting, cough, flu and respiratory problems.

They call on the authorities to prioritize this case that threatens the lives of children.
