During today’s coordination of global production capacities and purchasing volumes, PALFINGER management decided to reduce production due to the persistently low order intake in the EMEA core region. Based on this decision, a slight decline in sales is expected for the full year 2024 compared to 2023 and an EBIT of around 20 percent below that of the record year 2023 (EBIT EUR 210.2 million).
However, due to the high volume of invoices in the last days of March 2024, PALFINGER management expects earnings for the first quarter of 2024 to be significantly higher than in the same period of the previous year (EBIT Q1/2023: EUR 48.9 million).
