Officers bruised to the face and wrist needed emergency care
FALCADE. The header of three young tourists from the Czech Republic who yesterday afternoon, in Falcade, claimed to have their lifts reopened in the late afternoon to return to Moena, skis on, ended in punches and complaints.
At the end of the ski day, the young people, all aged between 25 and 27, who arrived at the Falcade ski resort after the closure of the ski lifts, in an evident state of alteration caused by the intake of alcoholic substances, entered in conflict with the staff of the plant management company, demanding to reopen the cableway to return to Moena through the connection with the slopes.
The staff of the plants, therefore, requested the intervention of the police operators who, despite having offered information on the possibility of reaching Moena by alternative means (shuttles, taxis, etc.), were attacked by Czech citizens without reason, with fists, kick and spit.
At the Agordo hospital, the policemen were found to have bruises to the face with a prognosis of 3 days and a blunt trauma to the wrist of the right hand with a prognosis of 7 days, respectively.
One of the young people was referred with a 7-day prognosis for blunt trauma to the face and alcohol abuse while the other two refused any treatment.
The same will be reported to the judicial authorities for resistance and injuries as well as the administrative offense relating to drunkenness has been challenged.
The judicial police activity was facilitated by the competition of the Carabinieri of the Falcade and Agordo stations in support of the staff of this office.
