Feast of the Redeemer, still free places to watch the fireworks – News

There are still some free places for booking at the Festa del Redentore 2023, which as always will set Venice on fire on the evening of July 15th. They are available, informs Vela spa, both to watch the show from the banks and for those who want to watch it from the water, by mooring the boats in the dock. Vela also announces that some changes and enhancements have been made to transport services before and after the event.

As per tradition, there is great anticipation for the “very famous night”. The Redeemer, with the fireworks show in the San Marco basin, is the most loved and traditional event in the city calendar. Reservations must be made at the following link: www.redentorevenezia.it. The fireworks display, which will illuminate the San Marco Basin for about 40 minutes, will begin at 11.30 pm.

Among this year’s novelties, the replacement of incandescent lamps with LED ones in all the illuminations positioned along the banks and foundations; a focus on sustainability that will produce a 75% reduction in the cost of the energy bill.
