Any revenues from the Borgo Ruga complex will be used to maintain the real estate assets
FELTRE. The church of Ognissanti, the sacristy and the cloister are offered for sale by Ulss Dolomiti. And with them also all the buildings in the historic part of the Borgo Ruga complex that develop from the access to the north, therefore from the current headquarters of the prevention department, to the one to the south with the old laundries. The health company that is dismantling the former psychiatric hospital, with the short transfer of the Serd prima and the veterinary clinics immediately to the former nursing home in via Marconi, has simultaneously commissioned an appraisal to the architect Loris Stiz which has projected a value of over six million and seven hundred thousand euros for the entire package.
The next step, according to Ulss Dolomiti, will be to ask the Veneto Region for authorization to sell these assets which can then be auctioned, in whole or in part. Any revenues, in the event that the auction is successful, will be able to contribute to the maintenance of the real estate assets with investments in the hospital and local area.
CLOSURES and TRANSFERS
The first service to be discontinued was that of the laundries, in 2016, when the contract was centralized in Belluno. Now of urgency, due to the inadequacy of the premises, there is the transfer of the Ctrp (Protected Therapeutic Residential Community). But Ulss Dolomiti has not yet decided on the alternative and definitive location, between Pullir and Sovramonte. In the meantime, the works for the transfer of the Serd are well advanced: in August the intervention was entrusted to the winning company for 233 thousand euros. In the former Bellati nursing home there will also be the veterinary clinics still active close to the old pharmacy of the Borgo, also for sale.
The Forestry Services and Arpav received a request for hospitality in the Feltrina Mountain Union. A request that will have to be examined by the community body for a speech on the reorganization of the spaces. The offices of the prevention department could find a new location in the former nursing home.
THE TORMENTONE OF OGNISSANTI
The former Dimesse monastery that was allegedly “sold” by the Ulss Dolomiti to the Municipality, with the treasures it holds and with the advancing mold, is once again topical now that it is put up for sale. At the beginning of this year, eleven city associations had signed the petition promoted by the Feltrina Family, to solicit the “taking charge”, that is the acquisition through European funds or State contributions of the valuable Augustinian complex against the availability of the sale, manifested since 2016 by the management of the former Usl 2 and the general manager Adriano Rasi Caldogno.
The acquisition of the church of Ognissanti, owned by the former Usl of Feltre since 1995, had already been preliminarily considered by the mayor of the city of Feltre in 2016. But also the Feltre Mountain Union, with the then vice president Michele Balen passionate about history of local art, waited for this sort of handover to take place, hoping to be able to include the Ognissanti project among the funds for the border municipalities.
