In a working group on Citizen Security convened by the Third Commission of Social, Environmental and Human Rights Affairs of the Council of Yopal, the different problems that have been arising in the capital of Casanar were analyzed, regarding situations that threaten the integrity of the people.

Councilor Dumar Montaña, president of the aforementioned Commission, pointed out that the participation of the Government Secretariat, Army, Police, Aerospace Force, Colombian Institute of Family Welfare, House of Justice, Councilors, Presidents of Community Action Boards, and business representatives.

Among other issues, the need to establish a Pilot Security Plan composed of several strategies was considered, which will be analyzed by the Municipal Administration to put them into practice and evaluate their impact on the security of the city.

The issuance of a decree was requested that prohibits the circulation of motorcycles with a male grill over 14 years of age, a curfew for minors, increased lighting by Sayop for parks, unsafe areas, streets and races, security raids and verification in bars, accompanied by traffic control posts and night patrols.

Likewise, it was requested to update the Census of the Street Population, a working group with Migration Colombia to address issues of the migrant population and begging, the entry into operation of a mobile CAI in areas or hotspots with a high rate of crimes, and the creation of a monitoring table and compliance with security and coexistence commitments by Commission 3a of the Municipal Council.
