A commercial hall burned on Sunday evening on the premises of a district heating company in Alfhausen (Osnabrück district). An office building was also affected by the fire, the police said. As a result of the fire, some households are likely to be without heating and hot water, it said. The police estimated the damage to be at least six figures. It was initially unclear how the fire started. Nobody got hurt.
