During yesterday, the 32nd edition of the Marco Ochoa Muñoz Intercollegiate Song Festival was held. Representatives from 19 educational establishments participated, stealing attention and applause from those present.
The Santiago Fernández García Coliseum was the setting for a new meeting. The space was full of students, who with their bars supported their representatives.
The event, organized by the Unit Educational Fiscomisional Daniel Álvarez Burneo, they do it every year and is part of the festivities for the 60th anniversary of the establishment.
José Amadeus Morocho, coordinator of the festival since its inception and currently a retired teacher, continues to support the planning with the same impetus.
Remember that the meeting is in homage to Marcos Ochoa Muñoz, accordionist and composer from Loja, “former of youth and initiator of musical art in Loja.” Even, with much nostalgia and joy, he said “that he was his teacher.”

In the coliseum it was possible to observe and feel the excitement of the attendees. The dance group from the host establishment opened the meeting.
José Amadeuos explained that there were delegations from the 8th year to the 3rd year of Baccalaureate.
