Floods in Klagenfurt – five days without electricity and hot water: “I was sick, only ate bread”

The food in the fridge is gone. Logically, the electricity was turned off on Friday. There has also been no warm water for five days. A weekend of sleepless nights. “The days were terrible,” says Stefanie Titz. She has lived in Griesgasse since 1977. She has hardly left her apartment on the fifth and top floor of the apartment building since Friday. The way up the staircase to freedom is too exhausting.
