More than a year after the new rules and less than two months after the Pnrr 2 decree, the picture of public competitions is rather heterogeneous. From the monitoring carried out by Fpa on 55 of the most significant insolvency procedures launched between 2019 and 2021, it emerges that 30 of these have been completed and of the 103 thousand total places available, just 14.5 thousand have been assigned. Among the 25 procedures in progress, in fact, there are large school competitions that increase the number of vacancies to over 88 ila. The timing of the procedures concluded, Fpa underlines, “gives hope for an acceleration in progress: on average, the average days (from the publication of the notices to the results) have dropped from 674 for the competitions announced in 2019, to 423 for those in 2020, to 141 for those of 2021. But optimism comes down to looking at the long times of the procedures still open: an average of 1,021 days have passed since the publication of the 4 2019 procedures still in progress, 713 for the 6 of 2020 and 248 for the 15 competitions banned in 2021 “.

15 thousand hires of professionals have already been made

The selection procedures concluded resulted in 1,032 collaborative assignments for 36 months, 14,103 fixed-term contracts, in addition to 50 permanent contracts. In 2021 alone, 160 thousand applications were received in the calls for tenders launched for the NRP, with 6% of hires compared to the audience of participants. 75% of the staff hired or in the process of being hired have a university degree.
