Fuxin City Launches Key Projects in First Quarter of 2024
The city of Fuxin recently held a mobilization meeting for the centralized start-up of key projects in the first quarter of 2024, along with a start-up ceremony for the State Nuclear Investment (Liaoning) carbon fiber composite project. The event took place on March 18 at the Yitong Logistics Park, marking an important milestone for the city’s development.
Municipal Party Committee Secretary Hu Tao, along with other city officials, attended the ceremony and announced the start of the project. The total investment for the carbon fiber composite project is reported to be 2.78 billion yuan, promising to not only boost the city’s development but also create a new industrial chain to meet the demands of new quality productivity.
During his speech at the event, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor Zhou Pengju emphasized the importance of project construction as a key driver for economic development. He urged for a focused approach to project implementation, highlighting the need for fast-tracking procedures and ensuring project safety throughout the process.
Wang Yingzhi, general manager of State Nuclear Power Investment Co., Ltd., expressed his commitment to working with relevant parties to ensure the successful completion of the project within the year. He also outlined plans to establish Fuxin as a national-level carbon fiber industry base in the next five years, contributing to the industrial revitalization of Northeast China.
Before the groundbreaking ceremony, city leaders visited the display board showcasing the centralized projects and received updates on their progress. The event was attended by a host of government officials, including members of the Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor Hu Guoyong, among others.
