(ANSA) – VERONA, JULY 11 – A 54-year-old German tourist died today after falling from Monte Baldo in the Verona area. The woman was walking along a track with her partner under path 658 which passes on the ridge towards Col Santo, when she fell, tumbling for a hundred metres. The Trento emergency helicopter was sent to the scene, which landed the medical team and helicopter rescue technician about fifty meters away. The rescuers tried resuscitation maneuvers unfortunately to no avail. The body was recovered with the winch and transported to Caprino Veronese. The woman’s partner was also boarded in the air ambulance and taken to the valley. (HANDLE).
