Grest Comelico, after the pandemic Don Fabio gives new life to tradition

From 4th to 24th July in the equipped meadows and in the woods just outside Sega Digon

COMELICO. The Grest Comelico is back after a few years of absence: for three weeks, from 4 to 24 July, children from all the villages in the valley will have the opportunity to play and have fun together from 8 am to 5 pm in the equipped meadows and in the nearby woods to Cappella Tamai, just outside the town of Sega Digon.

“The grest is an opportunity to create communities by making our children stay together, enhancing their desire to collaborate together”, explains Don Fabio Fiori, parish priest of Danta and San Nicolò, organizer of the initiative, “since 2003 it continues to have excellent feedback from both children and young animators, committed this year to developing the theme of friendship inspired by the Chronicles of Narnia through games, activities and workshops. This experience will be fundamental for the growth of the children and for learning to live authentically in our reality together with many people, adults and non-adults, who will become their friends over the course of the days “.

“The friendships that are formed during the grest last a lifetime”, reflects Cristiana De Zolt, who has been engaged for years as an animator, “we had a lot of fun and it was the first approach to adult life, having to organize various activities for the older children. little ones”.

The children engaged in the role of animators are flanked by the adults who, voluntarily, take charge of the workshops such as journalism, carpentry and theater.
