Grille in poor condition represents a road risk for drivers traveling through the fourth race

In one of the busiest avenues in Valledupar, specifically on Carrera 4 and Calle 18A, a grate that covers a sewage pipe is in an advanced state of deterioration, generating concern about the possible incidents it could cause. Drivers and pedestrians have experienced risky situations due to the state of this structure.

According to the community in the sector, the grid has been presenting irregularities for several days, and despite having notified the Valledupar Public Service company, Emdupar, no response has been received. Official sources indicate that although Emdupar received the request, the intervention has been delayed due to an ongoing hiring process. Although the area was cleaned, the grate has not yet been removed.

Fearing that the deterioration of the grille could cause a serious traffic accident, the community has taken improvised measures to warn about the risk. They surrounded the empty space with bags full of garbage and tree branches, functioning as a warning sign against the threat posed by the dilapidated grate.

The residents of the sector hope that the contract will be completed quickly so that a team of operators can remove the deteriorated grille and thus prevent a possible road tragedy.
