Troops of the National Army captured an individual known as alias “Joker”, accused of being the liaison and logistical coordinator between the dissidents of the 10th and 28th fronts of the FARC.
According to the authorities, the subject was traveling along the Los Libertadores route between Tame and the Araucanian capital, and at a checkpoint on the La Holland village he was surprised by the soldiers, who recognized him because they had intelligence information. The subject presented a false identification, but the soldiers did not fall into the trap.
At the time of the capture, a van with type IV armor was seized, which also had a system to activate lights and siren-type sound with which it deceived the population by making it look like a tax vehicle; Two cell phones and $8,350,000 in cash were also seized, money that came from extortionate fees.

According to the authorities, alias “Joker” had been part of the dissidents of the 10° 10 Front for approximately five years, and was the one who carried out activities outside the law related to kidnappings, extortion, collection of vaccines and selective homicides.
