According to Caracol Radio, who claim to have a reliable source within the CNE, the charges that could be presented would be related to the omission in the declarations of money coming from different unions such as Fecode and the Trade Union Union (USO).

Once the charges are filed, it would be the job of the full court to ensure that, within the accusations, no political biases are found. This also means that the presentation of charges is only in the first phase of the procedure.
It should be noted that, in addition to the possible seriousness of the accusations, This would be the first time in the history of the CNE in which charges would be brought against a president in the exercise of his functions.
This news comes amid other two controversies surrounding the government of President Gustavo Petrowhich would be related to two of his social reform projects.
