The Municipal Party Committee Theoretical Study Center Group (Expanded) in Changning City recently held its 5th collective study and party discipline study and education reading class in 2024. The two-day event aimed to deeply study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thoughts on party building and party discipline study and education.
During the meeting, participants delved into the “Regulations on Disciplinary Punishments of the Communist Party of China” and focused on enhancing discipline awareness and self-discipline. Wu Lesheng, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, presided over the event and emphasized the importance of conducting party discipline study and education throughout the party.
Wu Lesheng highlighted the need for party members and cadres to strengthen their political awareness, ideological awareness, and action awareness in compliance with regulations and disciplines. He stressed the significance of integrating political discipline, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, mass discipline, work discipline, and life discipline to ensure that the city’s work aligns with the guidance of the Party Central Committee and General Secretary Xi Jinping.
The city’s leading cadres were urged to set an example by deeply studying and meticulously carrying out their responsibilities. It was emphasized that the effectiveness of party discipline learning and education should translate into tangible results to promote the high-quality development of the city.
Numerous municipal leaders, including Luo Weihua, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, participated in the event. The collective efforts of party members and cadres in Changning City are expected to further strengthen discipline enforcement and uphold a clean and upright political ecology in the city.
