When Jamie enters her room at the Leonberg inpatient hospice, it puts a smile on Ingrid Langenkamp’s face. The Golden Retriever puts his front paws on her bed and lets herself be fed sausages. Not only Langenkamp, ​​Jamie is also happy about the visit. “When we come to the hospice, he always wants to go straight into your room,” says dog owner Katrin Granz with a smile. Jamie is the hospice’s visiting and support dog. He comes to the guests once a week and brings some lightness to the difficult time before death.
