The Carabinieri of the Norm of the Company of Tolmezzo, of the Comeglians and Gemona del Friuli Stations, in collaboration with the soldiers of the Antisophistications Unit and of the Labor Inspectorate Unit of Udine, during the last weekend, as part of an extraordinary control service of the territory coordinated by the Carabinieri Company Command of Tolmezzo and aimed at controlling the public places of the “nightlife” in the hilly and Carnic area, as well as monitoring road traffic with particular attention to the prosecution of infringements of the Highway Code related to the consumption of alcoholic substances during driving, they checked 30 vehicles, 35 people and carried out 12 checks with alcoltest, one of which with a positive result and which led to the denunciation of a 31-year-old Carnian in a state of freedom for driving in a state of alcoholic intoxication.

A public establishment in Gemona del Friuli was also checked where it was found the presence of about 60 people who had crowded in violation of the legislation to combat the spread of Covid-19.

Consequently, the manager of the venue was fined because she did not take suitable measures to avoid crowding by customers within her own establishment, without verifying, however, the possession of the “green pass” of all the people in ‘indoor. The public exercise will remain closed, due to the sanction, for one day.
