During the recent Tomb Sweeping Day holiday, China Railway Taiyuan Bureau Group Co., Ltd. reported a significant increase in passenger volume, with a total of 927,000 passengers served over the three-day period. The peak day was on April 6th, with 348,000 passengers being transported.

The inter-provincial passenger flow during the holiday was concentrated in the direction of Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, and Xi’an, with a majority of tourist flow within Shanxi Province heading towards Datong and Yuncheng.

To accommodate the increased passenger demand, China Railway Taiyuan Bureau Group Co., Ltd. operated additional trains, including high-speed trains to Beijing, EMU trains to Datong, Linfen, and Yuncheng, as well as regular-speed passenger trains to Baotou and Yongji.
