TREVISO. Eight family doctors just appointed for a sea of areas lacking in the Marca: 78 those counted by the health company between now and the end of the year, facing the retirement emergency. Ulss 2 has proceeded with the assignment of the tasks in these days.

In Treviso, three doctors will take place in their respective clinics, with the possibility of accepting assisted by San Biagio and Silea. In his case, it is mandatory to open the clinic in the populous municipality of the hinterlan, but the covered area will also extend to the patients of Istrana, Morgano, Ponzano and Quinto. Adriano Pilla will work in Castelfranco, with a territorial scope also extended to Resana and Vedelago; two doctors who will begin to operate in Montebelluna, also covering Caerano and Trevignano. Family doctors have 90 days to start the business left uncovered by retired colleagues.

The proposal made by Fimmg last week would therefore see the family doctor who intends to return to the clinic at the disposal of his patients, with a free profession assignment. That is until a new doctor is appointed. The intent is not to leave patients without a doctor for too long.
