Continuous Rain and Snow Expected in Jiangxi, China

The China Weather Network has issued a warning for the Jiangxi province, forecasting continuous rain and snow for today and tomorrow. Heavy rainfall is expected tomorrow, with moderate snow in the northern parts of the province. The southern areas of Jiangxi will also experience heavy rain during this period.

The weather is expected to remain cold and wet, with temperatures struggling to rise. This is particularly important as it is the peak period for Spring Festival travel. The public is advised to plan their travel arrangements carefully, pay attention to traffic safety, and ensure they keep warm during this period.

Yesterday, the province experienced heavy rain, with some areas in southern Gansu receiving over 50mm of rainfall. The temperature remained low, hovering around 2 to 4 degrees Celsius in most parts of the province, creating damp and cold conditions.

Today and tomorrow, the weather is expected to see cloudy skies turning into light rain in some western parts of the province, while other areas will experience cloudy conditions. Road conditions in mountainous areas are likely to be wet and icy, with freezing rain expected in some areas. The highest temperatures today will range from 3 to 13 degrees Celsius across different parts of the province.

The forecast for tomorrow indicates that the northern parts of Jiangxi will experience light snow and sleet, with moderate snow in some areas, while the central and southern parts will see light to moderate rain, with heavy rain in some areas. The lowest temperatures tomorrow morning are expected to range from minus 1 to 6 degrees Celsius across different parts of the province.

The meteorological department has urged the public to be cautious during this period, especially those traveling during the Spring Festival. They have advised keeping a close eye on road conditions, ensuring traffic safety, and staying warm due to the difficult weather conditions and low temperatures.

To keep updated with the weather, the public is encouraged to follow the “China Weather Network” WeChat official account, “China Weather” Weibo, and “China Weather” Douyin. Stay safe and warm during this period of challenging weather conditions.
