CCTV News: Since the outbreak of the epidemic in Yangzhou, the local people have visited and checked the needy people, and timely and full social assistance funds have been distributed to ensure the livelihood of the needy people during the epidemic. A one-time temporary living allowance of 740 yuan per household will be provided to people in difficulties such as urban and rural subsistence allowances, destitute support objects, and children in distress within the scope of the main city’s closure and control management; The disabled and children in need are directly given a one-time temporary assistance of 3 months minimum living allowance for each person.
For families on the margins of subsistence allowances who have temporary difficulties in their basic living due to family members being isolated and admitted, the township (street) temporary assistance fund is required to be used, and “first aid” is given at the rate of 1 month of minimum living security per person. As of August 10, 5013 households with a one-off temporary living allowance of 3.708 million yuan have been distributed. Regarding the stranded personnel in other places, Yangzhou City launched the rescue service guarantee work mechanism, received a total of 3801 service requests, accumulatively accommodated 284 people and provided food security for 1,033 people.
