While actor Kang Kyeong-jun (40) was caught up in suspicions of having an affair, there were rumors that his partner, A, had disappeared.
According to the Sunday Newspaper on the 12th, Mr. A, who was identified as Kang Kyeong-jun’s affair partner, disappeared from the company from January 4th, immediately after the incident was reported, to the present.
The company in question, where Kang Kyeong-jun and Mr. A worked together, is a real estate sales agency. It is reported that both of them are currently not at work and have lost contact with each other.
A company official said, “Mr. A is absent from work without permission and is not receiving any communication from the company. “I sent them a preliminary notice of dismissal, but I understand they still haven’t contacted me,” he said.
Additionally, the company requested an explanation from the two when the affair rumors were reported, but they reportedly cut off contact, leaving only the statement, “It was a misunderstanding.”
It is known that Kang Kyung-jun worked at the company as an irregular worker for about six months while also working as an actor. The company has also notified Kang Kyeong-jun of his retirement.
Meanwhile, on December 26th last year, Kang Kyung-jun was singled out as an incestuous man and was sued by the victim for damages worth 50 million won.
In response to this, Kang Kyeong-jun’s former agency, K-Star Global Entity, apologized, saying, “The company tried to confirm, but it seems there is nothing to respond to because it is related to the actor’s personal life. We apologize for causing social controversy.”
In particular, the agency was discussing an extension of Kang Kyung-jun’s exclusive contract as it expired in October of last year, but discussions on extension were halted due to this incident.
