On July 20, the reporter learned from the Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission that in the first half of the year, Sichuan’s 700 provincial key projects completed an investment of 391.24 billion yuan, with an annual investment completion rate of 64.3%, an increase of 8.7 percentage points over the same period in 2020 and an increase over the same period in 2019. 8.2 percentage points, the overall progress of the project is good.
A number of landmark projects were successfully completed. The Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, the Neijiang-Zigong-Luzhou section of the Southern Sichuan Intercity Railway, the Yazhong-Jiangxi ±800 kV UHV DC Transmission Project (Sichuan Section), and the Chengdu Dong’an Lake Reconstruction Project were completed. Put into operation (use); all units of Wudongde Hydropower Station were put into operation and connected to the grid for power generation, and the first batch of units of Baihetan Hydropower Station were put into operation for power generation.
A number of demonstration projects have been accelerated, including Chengdu-Dazhou-Wanzhou high-speed railway (in Sichuan), Hanbanan Railway from Nanchong to Bazhong, Chengdu Rail Transit Ziyang Line, Civil Aviation Science and Technology Innovation Demonstration Zone Phase I Project, Sichuan Times Power Battery, etc. The construction of 489 continued projects was accelerated.
A number of leading projects have started construction. The construction of 154 key projects including the Longchang to Xuyong section of the Longhuang Railway, the 12GWh power battery of Time Geely, and the Jinjiang District of West China Hospital of Sichuan University have started construction.
A number of long-term projects are included in the reserve to seize major national strategic opportunities such as the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing dual-city economic circle, the construction of the “Belt and Road”, and the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. With important influence, 300 key projects are planned to start construction in 2-3 years, with a total investment of about 2 trillion yuan.
