Urumqi’s Sayibak District Launches 2024 Pearl Flower New Year Exhibition
Urumqi Sayibak District recently launched the 2024 Pearl Flower New Year Exhibition and Sales Week at the Urumqi Pearl Flower Market in an effort to welcome visitors from all over the world and boost cultural tourism consumption.
The event, themed “Let a hundred flowers bloom to celebrate the New Year and celebrate the New Year happily,” features a variety of cultural activities, including traditional dragon and lion dance performances, folk dances, and a showcase of Hanfu, the traditional clothing of the Han Chinese people.

In addition to the cultural performances and flower sales, the MIngzhu Flower Market also boasts a rich history and significant economic impact. Covering an area of more than 50,000 square meters and with over 700 stalls, it is the largest flower market in Xinjiang and a nationally renowned flower market. It has also played a pivotal role in driving the development of surrounding industries and has become a vibrant hub for commerce and cultural exchange.
