Rafael Aronna spent hours kidnapped in the jurisdiction of San Diego, Cesar. Their relatives, upon learning of the events in the early hours of this Monday, April 15, notified the National Police, so they carried out a joint deployment with the Gaula of the National Army, and after 2:00 pm, the authorities gave to know that this adult, over 76 years old, was rescued.
«Technical operations and a lock plan were established, with pressure in the area where the man was taken. Thanks to this and information from the citizens, the release was achieved. He states that he set out on the road to the farm where they had taken him, now he is in good health, he is now with his family. We continue in the operational work to capture the individuals who committed the act and it still cannot be said which group held him. The events occurred in the Arroyo Hondo district, jurisdiction of San Diego,” indicated the commander of the National Police, Colonel Eduardo Chamorro.
It was also learned that Aronna was kidnapped at 6:00 am by unknown individuals who broke into his property on motorcycles and took him away in his own truck, which was left abandoned near Media Luna, so at that time liberation operations were established in the area.
It was also known that the victim was found by police and Army units when he was walking back to his farm after being released.
