A man identified as Luis Germán Colina López was murdered with a knife, in front of a commercial establishment located on Calle 9 between Carreras 20 and 21 in the municipality of Aguazul, on Sunday night.
Colina López received a stab wound from the aggressor, who would be fully identified by the authorities, and would be a migrant residing near the place where the homicide occurred.
The crime caused consternation in the rice capital of Casanare, since the deceased was a widely known person, being the son of the renowned lawyer Tulia Nelly López, who has held public positions such as the Municipal Person’s Office.
Germán Colina López currently worked at the Aguazul Public Services Company ESPA, and according to preliminary versions he had a previous altercation with his perpetrator. The authorities managed to establish contact with the aggressor’s wife, who fled once the crime was committed.
