Meng Hongwei’s Wife Appears for the First Time Interviewed: The CCP is the Devil | Gao Ge | Foreign Media Interview

by admin

[EpochTimesNovember192021](Epoch Times reporter Fang Xiao reported) Meng Hongwei, the former deputy minister of the Ministry of Public Security of the Communist Party of China and the former chairman of Interpol, was sentenced to prison. His wife, Gao Ge, made a positive appearance for the first time and accepted an exclusive interview with foreign media, saying that the CCP is the devil (“The monster”).

On November 18, the Associated Press reported that Meng’s wife, who currently lives in Lyon, France, told reporters that she would prefer to be interviewed under the name of Grace Meng.

This is the first time that Meng Hongwei’s wife has been interviewed by the media in a public appearance since Meng Hongwei’s disappearance, arrest, and sentence.

According to the report, Gao Ge suspected that the CCP agents were attempting to kidnap their family, so he and his twin sons applied to the French authorities for asylum and were protected by the French police around the clock.

She said in the interview that she is not afraid to show up for interviews because she has learned how to get along with the devil, and the devil is the Chinese Communist regime.

She also disclosed that after Meng Hongwei was sentenced, she had no information and did not know whether her husband was alive or dead. She also didn’t have any news about her family.

Gao Ge described the CCP government as the devil (monster), “because they eat their own children.” She said, “I have a responsibility to show up and tell the world what happened. In the past three years, I have learned how to interact with the devil (monster) and the government. The authorities coexist.”

At the end of September 2018, Meng Hongwei lost contact after returning to China from the French headquarters under the chairmanship of Interpol. In October of the same year, his wife, Gao Ge, filed a report in France and complained to foreign media that Meng Hongwei had been politically persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party, which aroused international attention.

Meng Hongwei has served in the Ministry of Public Security of the Communist Party of China for many years. Zhou Yongkang was appointed Minister of the Ministry of Public Security in 2003. In the following year, Meng Hongwei was promoted to vice minister and a member of the party committee and became Zhou’s important deputy.

On March 27, 2019, Meng Hongwei was double-opened. On the same day, Zhao Kezhi, Secretary of the Party Committee and Minister of the Ministry of Public Security of the Communist Party of China, presided over an enlarged meeting of the Ministry of Public Security, emphasizing the need to thoroughly eradicate Zhou Yongkang and Meng Hongwei’s legacy of poison.

The authorities accused Meng Hongwei of abusing his power to satisfy the family’s “luxury life” and allowing his wife to use his power for personal gain. In January 2020, Meng Hongwei was accused of accepting 14.46 million yuan (RMB) in bribes and sentenced to 13 years and 6 months in prison.
