The Colombian Foreign Ministry has launched an urgent call to all citizens who have processed their passports and have not yet collected them, urging them to go to the corresponding offices and claim their documents before they are destroyed.

In an official statement, the ministry warned that many of these passports are close to reaching the maximum legal delivery date, which is six months. Once this period has passed, the documents are scheduled for destruction.
