The Nahdet Berkane football team traveled to Libya to face its host, Abu Salim, in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the African Confederation Cup.
“Hesport” learned, from an informed source, that the “Orange” team traveled to Libya on Thursday night, in preparation for facing the “Abu Salim” club, where RS Berkane will continue its preparations in the city of Benghazi, starting tomorrow evening, Friday, by conducting the first training session there.
The same source explained that the Berkane team is preparing for the confrontation with high morale under the leadership of its Tunisian coach Moin Chaabani, who is betting on winning the Confederation Cup competition, as it is part of the coach’s goals with the club’s management.
A Hesport source reported that Nahdet Berkane will conduct two training sessions in the city of Benghazi before the confrontation that will be hosted at the “Martyrs of Benina” stadium next Sunday.
RS Berkane achieved victory in its last match in the Moroccan Professional League over its counterpart, Morocco Fes, with two goals to one, and the “Orange Club” occupies third place in the league with 40 points.
