General Secretary Xi Jinping also emphasized the need to accelerate the construction of a world-class salt lake industrial base in Qinghai during his recent visit to the province. With the rich lithium resources in Qinghai, the lithium battery industry has found the “right time, the right location, and the right people” for its development. Xining, as the provincial capital, has taken on the responsibility of transforming the advantages of plateau lithium resources into the advantages of the lithium battery industry.
