New Year’s violence in Piazza Duomo in Milan, police search 18 boys, including minors

Searches taken at dawn, between Milan and Turin: the state police, coordinated by the Milan prosecutor’s office and the prosecutor’s office for minors, entered the home of 18 people: they are 15 just of age, three minors, the youngest is 15 years old and the largest 21. They are accused of being the pack – or at least part of the pack – responsible for the sexual assaults that took place on New Year’s Eve in Piazza Duomo in Milan. The meticulous investigation activity, immediately undertaken by the agents of the Milan Mobile Squad and the Central Commissariat, made it possible to ascertain three different episodes of violence that night against nine girls present in the square for the celebrations.

The searches, which involved the cities of Milan and Turin, also saw the participation of policemen from the Milanese Judicial Police Section, the Mobile Squad of the Turin Police Headquarters and the Lombardy and Piedmont Crime Prevention Departments.
