ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued a notice to PTI for April 30, raising objections to the new intra-party elections of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
Election Commission sources say that ECP has objected to PTI’s intra-party election for the third time.
According to sources, a notice has been issued to PTI by the Election Commission in this regard.
Sources further said that in this regard, Election Commission Political Finance Wing has directed PTI to appear on April 30 in its notice.
The PTI had submitted the details of the intra-party election to the Election Commission on March 4.
It should be noted that the election commission had withdrawn the election symbol of the party by declaring the intra-party elections of PTI null and void.
