The selection commission, set up at Anica at the request of the Academy, will meet to vote for the title designated on 26 October

ROME. There are 18 Italian films that will compete for the designation of the title candidate to represent Italy in the selection for the International Feature Film Award category of the 94th Academy Awards. The films distributed in Italy, or in anticipation of being distributed, in the period between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2021 have proposed their candidacy. The selection commission, set up at ANICA at the request of the Academy, will meet to vote on the designated title on October 26. The official announcement of all nominations is scheduled for February 8 and the Oscars ceremony in Los Angeles on March 27, 2022.
