TREVISO. A party in a private house in Jesolo, with a group of Treviso boys between the ages of 17 and 18 unvaccinated, it turned into a coronavirus outbreak, with eight positives all symptomatic and 30 in quarantine. The fear, given the rapid spread of the infection, is that it is the Delta variant.

Another alarm bell in the Vittoriese, where yesterday a child from a summer camp was found positive for Covid: about fifty comrades ended up in isolation and will be subjected to a swab.
The party by the sea
The general manager of the health care company, Francesco Benazzi, is disheartened. Because the “ingredients” of the Jesolo outbreak are those for which the health care company has been warning citizens for months: a large group of people indoors, all unvaccinated, without masks and distances. The facts refer to last weekend, between 4 and 5 July.
The boys, some recently of age and others still minors, come from from Treviso and Coneglianese. They attended a party in a private house in which about thirty young people were present. One of the positives also attended a subsequent party earlier than 48 hours after symptoms began, thus forcing the healthcare company to quarantine attendees at the second gathering as well. The boys began to show symptoms after less than a week, yesterday they underwent the swab in the Covid Points of Treviso and Conegliano.
The test confirmed the coronavirus infection. At the moment there are 8 cases related to the first party, and a single case related to the second. «The fear is that these numbers will increase» confirms CEO Benazzi, «in the next few days other guys will also undergo the swab. None of the positives were vaccinated. We can only reiterate the importance of undergoing prophylaxis and respecting the rules we have set ourselves, unfortunately the boys are all symptomatic and in the next few days we will know if it is an Indian variant ».
The resumption of cases
