As an international economic and trade event co-sponsored by the economic and trade authorities of the governments of China and the 10 ASEAN countries and the ASEAN Secretariat, the CAEXPO is committed to promoting regional economic integration, from serving “10+1” to serving RCEP and “One Belt One Road”. China and ASEAN as a whole have exchanges with countries outside the region to create more business opportunities. Arif Alvi introduced that Pakistan will have a pavilion at this China-ASEAN Expo to display sports goods, jewellery, gems, mineral products, etc. of the country. I believe that there will be a lot of talks between Pakistan and businessmen from China and ASEAN.
On September 9, the inauguration ceremony of Pakistan’s entry into the China-ASEAN Special Commodity Convergence Center was held in Nanning, Guangxi. Entering the China-ASEAN Special Commodity Center this time, Pakistan will focus on its main export products such as textiles, food, and surgical products and sports products.
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan. During this year’s CAEXPO, a series of activities for specially invited partners such as the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan and the 2021 China-Pakistan Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum will be held.
