Pakistani President Arif Alvi stated on the 10th that the CAEXPO will further consolidate the good partnership between China and Pakistan and look forward to more trade negotiations and cooperation between Pakistan and businessmen from China and ASEAN in the future.

The 18th China-ASEAN Expo and the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit opened in Nanning, Guangxi on the same day. Arif Alvi delivered a video speech at the opening conference.

As an international economic and trade event co-sponsored by the economic and trade authorities of the governments of China and the 10 ASEAN countries and the ASEAN Secretariat, the CAEXPO is committed to promoting regional economic integration, from serving “10+1” to serving RCEP and “One Belt One Road”. China and ASEAN as a whole have exchanges with countries outside the region to create more business opportunities. Arif Alvi introduced that Pakistan will have a pavilion at this China-ASEAN Expo to display sports goods, jewellery, gems, mineral products, etc. of the country. I believe that there will be a lot of talks between Pakistan and businessmen from China and ASEAN.

On September 9, the inauguration ceremony of Pakistan’s entry into the China-ASEAN Special Commodity Convergence Center was held in Nanning, Guangxi. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan.
