ROME (ITALPRESS) – Elections for the renewal of the Central Committee and the Board of Auditors of the Federation of Italian Pharmacists’ Orders were held on 23, 24 and 25 April. After the announcement of the results, the Central Committee met for the election of the Presidential Council. Andrea Mandelli was confirmed as President, Luigi D’Ambrosio Lettieri was confirmed as Vice President, Maurizio Pace as Secretary and Mario Giaccone as Treasurer. The Central Committee is now composed of Andrea Carmagnini, Vitaliano Corapi, Florindo Cracco, Luciano Diomedi, Maximin Liebl, Paolo Manfredi, Maurizio Manna, Roberto Pennacchio, Gianfranco Picciau, Francesco Rastrelli, Giovanni Zorgno. The Board of Auditors is made up of Andrea Giacomelli, Giuseppe Guaglianone, Sigismondo Rizzo. 96% of those entitled to participate in the elections and President Mandelli’s list collected 90% of the votes. This result rewards the professional policy, pursued in recent years by the Federation, in support of public health, institutions and for the benefit of citizens. The Central Committee, in its first meeting, resolved to make use of the work of the following commissions: Equal opportunities, coordinated by Daniela Musolino, President of the Reggio Calabria Order; Gender Medicine, coordinated by Anna Olivetti, President of the Order of Gorizia; Volunteering and Solidarity, coordinated by Enrica Bianchi, President of the Order of Cuneo.
