This Saturday, January 20, Senator Piedad Córdoba of the Historical Pact lost her life due to a heart attack. The Colombian politician was declared dead upon entering the Conquistadores clinic in Medellín. The congresswoman was days away from celebrating her 68th birthday, which would be on January 25.
According to the representative to the Chamber Alirio Uribe, Senator Córdoba’s bodyguards tried to revive her after the heart attack and took her to the clinic, where she arrived without vital signs: “I understand that she was with one of her bodyguards and she had a heart attack.” “They tried to revive her and finally took her to the hospital where she arrived without vital signs.”
