The preliminary conference of the services on the project of the new single hospital is underway in the provincial administration building of Cuneo.
The formula identified by the Region is that of a public-private partnership with the company Inc, part of the Fininc group of the Dogliani family.
To say no to the partnership, city councilors and representatives of the opposition groups Cuneo per i Beni Comuni, Cuneo Mia, Indipendenti and Indipendenza! met in front of the Provincial headquarters. Among the signs displayed are “Hospitals must be public”, “Do not sell healthcare to the private sector”, “Health is not a commodity”.
According to forecasts, the hospital will be built on the area of the current “Carle” in the Confreria hamlet, occupying approximately 138 thousand square meters of surface area, with a capacity of 805 beds.
