LAHORE: The resolution declaring former Prime Minister of Pakistan Zulfikar Ali Bhutto official martyr and national hero was approved in the Punjab Assembly.
After the Sindh Assembly, the resolution to declare Zulfikar Ali Bhutto as official martyr and national hero was passed by a majority vote in the Punjab Assembly. The resolution was presented in the Punjab Assembly by Ali Haider Gilani, leader of the People’s Party.
It should be noted that yesterday in the Sindh Assembly, a resolution was passed to declare former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto as a national hero and award Nishan Bhutto to political workers for making great sacrifices for the restoration of democracy.
