He was aboard an Ape Cross. Now he is hospitalized at San Giovanni Bosco in Turin
Yet another accident inside the Quagliuzzo tunnel, on the afternoon of Saturday 3 July. An Ape Cross collided with a Renault Captur. To detect the accident and to help the injured, the police, the Rivarolo fire brigade and 118 arrived.
The driver of the Ape, on impact, was thrown out of the cockpit and was taken to the San Giovanni Bosco hospital in Turin, where he was hospitalized with a confidential prognosis. Injured, but not serious, the woman driving the Renault who was taken to the hospital in Ivrea. The Pedemontana was immediately closed in both directions to allow the passage of emergency vehicles. Shortly after 4 pm it was reopened in one alternate direction.
