Recovered from Covid but without the Green pass, he protests sitting in the hall: “I won’t move from here if I don’t have the certificate”

The protest of the sixty-three year old in the lobby of the Department

UDINE. He sat in the atrium of the Prevention Department in via Chiusaforte to protest and from there he did not leave until he obtained the green certificate after recovering from Covid, for the second time in a year. To calm him down, the carabinieri had to intervene.

Daniele Musto, 63, who runs a historic second-hand shop in via Mantica, on Tuesday 18 January, intending to assert his rights, left home on foot and reached the headquarters of the Prevention Department.

“It’s a shame – complains Musto -. I had Covid for the second time. I took a swab from which I tested negative, but I had to wait days before receiving the Super Green pass, which I only got this morning (yesterday, for the reader), at the end of my solitary protest.

I am disabled and therefore I have big problems doing anything. These have been difficult days. I was kicked out of several clubs because I didn’t have a green certificate. I wonder how it is possible to get to this point ».

In January of last year, Musto ended up in hospital for eight days precisely because of the virus.

“I was hospitalized, after contracting Covid, in semi-internsive therapy. I was discharged on January 17, 2021.

Last spring I never received the Green pass due to a series of bureaucratic issues. Then, in January of this year, I got sick again.

Last Friday I swab and tested negative. I got a basic Green pass, valid for 48 hours only. Not even the shadow of the Green pass is strengthened.

I called and called back but since the situation did not show signs of unblocking I decided to protest blatantly. In the end, however, at the risk of being denounced, the green certificate was delivered to me “
